NCMEP, the state's manufacturing extension partnership run by NC State's Industry Expansion Solutions, describes two free services for North Carolina manufacturers: send a supply chain request form and staff reply with contact details for possible new suppliers to qualify yourself, or register your shop on ManufacturedNC so staff can pass along buyers' requests that match what you make. The page says you remain responsible for vetting any supplier, so use it to look for in-state makers of the parts you were about to source from farther away.
