The signup page for Asheville Makers, a nonprofit shared workshop whose equipment, listed on its site, includes 3D printers, a laser cutter, a CNC machine and an electronics bench; it offers monthly and annual plans and asks you to come to an orientation evening before you join. The group announced in January 2026 that it was moving to a larger space and changing its fees, and its site now lists 95 Thompson Street, so check the site or email the board for the current address, prices and orientation night before you go.
Do this week
Go to the next open house or orientation night with a sketch of your product, and ask members which of the shop's machines could make a first rough version of it.
