How to Become a Vendor
This lesson is a guide published by French Broad Food Co-op.
Read the guideWhat you'll get
The Asheville co-op's vendor page says it reviews products for quality, pricing and ingredients, prefers items that are certified organic, locally produced or Non-GMO Project verified, sends your form to the right buyer, and invites you to resubmit if you hear nothing in 30 days. The product policy it links lists ingredients the co-op bans, such as artificial sweeteners, colors and flavors, so read that first to see whether your formula fits before you fill in the form.
Do this week
Compare the co-op's product policy with your ingredient list or label, mark anything it bans or de-emphasizes, then submit the vendor form.
